Join the zero-emission bus conversation in Paris where we will again bring together manufacturers, operators, policy makers and industry to discuss decarbonisation of public transport.
The Paris Zero Emission Bus Conference follows the successful 2nd edition held in Cologne, Germany, in November 2018. Over 360 global stakeholders representing 220 organisations attended the event.
Expert speakers debated routes to commercialisation and discussed technological readiness of the two zero emission options: battery and fuel cell buses.
ZEB 2020 will call on European manufacturers, policy makers and operators to scale up their zero emission ambitions to become global leaders in the transition to a zero-emission society.
High level politicians are invited to outline their policies and affirm their commitments to supporting uptake of zero emission vehicles.
This session will examine the current solutions and forecast trends for deploying zero emission buses in a dialogue between experienced operators and manufacturers.
LUNCH & EXHIBITION
This section will outline the challenges and barriers to scaling up infrastructure. Two panels of infrastructure providers will outline possible solutions for battery and fuel cell bus fleets.
We will finish the first day with commentary from operators, sharing their strategies for overcoming the challenges faced during early stages of the transition to zero emission fleets.
Venue to be announced shortly
The opening session of the second day will focus on routes to accelerating the transition to full fleet conversions.
This session will provide examples of ambitious scale-up plans from around the world, showing that zero emission bus technologies have no borders.
This session will outline business models and pathways for moving from funding to financing of complete fleets of zero emission buses and their associated infrastructure.
